COVID-19: How safe is your job? – New STUC survey launched to find out what is happening to workers’ safety and jobs across Scotland
The STUC has launched a new survey to gather workers’ experiences on how their jobs, safety and workplaces have been affected by COVID-19. We are trying to build a comprehensive picture of what is happening to different groups of workers across Scotland, from the protective equipment they are provided with, to the pay they are receiving, and their experience of interacting with the UK social security system. If this is shared widely, we expect to be able to provide crucial evidence to inform ongoing policy and practice.
We would appreciate your help in sharing this survey as widely as possible.
Here is the link, which can be emailed or posted on social media: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/XRJFZ6X<eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.surveymonkey.co.uk%2Fr%2FXRJFZ6X&data=02%7C01%7CPauline.McNeill.msp%40parliament.scot%7C1a4d66b4f9c74cc0afdb08d7d19b1812%7Cd603c99ccfdd…>
You can also retweet the STUC’s link to the survey directly from @ScottishTUC.

Thank you very much for your help with this.
The STUC has also been producing a range of advice as the COVID-19 crisis has been unfolding, such as this advice on what the job retentions scheme might mean for different workers: www.stuc.org.uk/fair-work-organising/coronavirus-pay-guarantee<eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stuc.org.uk%2Ffair-work-organising%2Fcoronavirus-pay-guarantee&data=02%7C01%7CPauline.McNeill.msp%40parliament.scot%7C1a4d66b4f9c74cc0a…> We will continue to add new information and advice.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if we can help in any way.
